Welcome! After many years of confining myself to papers, company posts, and the occasional Twitter rant, I’ve decided to set up my own blog. What can you expect?

• Commentary from my core expertise: computational biology, machine learning, genomics, diagnostics, therapeutics, and biotechnology.
• Tidbits that I find interesting: new papers, musings on new techniques.
• Memes: probably these when I get bored.

First posts will be coming up Real Soon, expanding on some of the commentary in David Shaywitz’s article for Forbes on my talk last fall at the AACR 30th Anniversary Special Conference on Convergence: Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Prediction in Cancer (quite a mouthful of a name…).
